Interventions
- placebo — DRUGOnce daily injection, under the skin (s.c.) for 12 weeks
- liraglutide — DRUGOnce daily injection, under the skin (s.c.) for 12 weeks
- glimepiride — DRUGTablets administered orally according to current treatment guidelines. Dose adjusted according to the glycaemic response
