Trial-results highlights

Clinical trials have investigated Netarsudil Ophthalmic for open-angle glaucoma. In NCT02558400, the mean intraocular pressure (IOP) for the AR-13324 Ophthalmic Solution 0.02% arm ranged from 17.25 mmHg to 24.81 mmHg over 3 months. Similarly, in NCT02674854, the mean IOP for the Latanoprost Ophthalmic Solution 0.005% arm ranged from 17.09 mmHg to 22.59 mmHg over 3 months. In NCT03284853, the mean diurnal IOP on Day 90 was between 15.19 mmHg and 15.56 mmHg for the GANFORT® arm. For the Netarsudil/Latanoprost 0.02%/0.005% arm, the mean diurnal IOP on Day 90 ranged from 15.39 mmHg to 15.64 mmHg. Another study, NCT04620135, reported a least squares mean IOP of 15.96 mmHg for the Netarsudil Ophthalmic Solution 0.02% and Netarsudil Ophthalmic Solution Vehicle arm after 29 days, compared to 17.71 mmHg for the Ripasudil Hydrochloride Hydrate Ophthalmic Solution 0.4% arm.

In studies focusing on Fuchs' Endothelial Dystrophy, NCT03248037 reported that 11 participants in the Netarsudil arm experienced an intraocular pressure elevation exceeding a defined threshold up to 9 months, while 18 participants in the Placebo arm experienced this event. In NCT03971357, the mean corneal clearing after endothelial removal was 42 percentage of area stripped for the Netarsudil arm and 43 percentage of area stripped for the Placebo arm after 5 weeks. Additionally, NCT04051463 found a mean change in central corneal thickness of -23 microns for the Netarsudil arm and -2 microns for the Placebo arm after 1 month.

All values presented are sourced from primary registry reporting; individual papers should be consulted for clinical decisions.
