Qualifications
- •Ability to read, write, and speak English is required
- •Requires the ability to walk, stand and reach for long periods of time

Responsibilities
- •The Food Service Aide performs a variety of food service assignments to provide meals and service to customers
- •Duties may include the preparation of food items, cashiering, cleaning and sanitizing according to department procedures
- •This position maintains a clean and sanitary work environment and stocks assigned areas with supplies
- •This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to team work and cooperation
- •Demonstrates the competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool
- •Potential for exposure to the hazards and risk of the hospital environment, including exposure to infectious disease, hazardous substances, and potential injury
