Job Summary
ESE Teacher Assistant - Beyond the Spectrum - Sarasota, FL
Beyond the Spectrum, Inc., is accepting applications for a Teacher's Assistant in the Lakewood Ranch/Bradenton/Sarasota area for the 2025-2026 school year. This position works with our population in the classroom and travels into the community for various learning experiences.
Respect, positive speech, and flexibility are important aspects of this role. Individuals interested in a career assisting teaching students of various exceptionalities, including students with challenging learning difficulties and students with communication and/or development disorders, are urged to submit resumes.
Candidates for the teacher assistant position should have at least 1 year of experience working with individuals with autism and emotional-behavioral challenges. Experience working with limited verbal students is a plus! Experience should include knowledge of de-escalation techniques.
Compensation is $29,000 to start.
