Qualifications & Experience:
• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, required
• Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in educational or behavioral settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with students, colleagues, and families
• Ability to implement behavior intervention plans with consistency and compassion
• Organization and adaptability when responding to evolving student needs
Core Responsibilities:
• Provide direct 1:1 or small group behavioral support to students as outlined by BCBAs and IEP teams
• Collect and document accurate data on student behaviors and intervention outcomes
• Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and refine individualized strategies
• Foster a safe, positive classroom environment that encourages student autonomy and engagement
• Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to integrate behavioral best practices throughout the school day
