Qualifications
- •High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- •Basic mechanical skills required
- •Valid Driver’s License
- •1-2 yrs. previous warehouse experience
- •Good verbal and written communication, organizational, time management & mathematical skills
- •Basic computer skills
- •Team player, seeks out work rather than waiting to be told what to do
- •Ability to read, write, verbalize and comprehend instructions and correspondence in English
- •Must have mathematical skills equivalent to those required under degree requirement
- •Standing, Walking, Sitting, Lifting, Carrying, Balancing, Stooping, Reaching, Handling, Feeling, Talking, Hearing, Acuity-Far, Acuity-Near, Depth Perception, and Field of Vision
- •The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- •Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- •While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear

Responsibilities
- •Shipping and Receiving
- •Greet and direct delivery drivers to dock area
- •Receive, inspect for damage, record and tag for inventory tracking purposes
- •Inspect, load and secure outgoing freight and record as necessary for inventory tracking purposes
- •Sort and place freight in designated areas according to warehouse standards/requirements,
- •Inventory Controls
- •Assist in maintaining an organized warehouse
- •Assist in maintaining proper inventory controls of consumables; order and restock as needed
- •Under direction of warehouse supervisor or superintendent, conduct periodic physical inventory counts,
- •Building, Office, Warehouse and Grounds Maintenance
- •Perform light housekeeping and spill clean-up as needed in office
- •Resolve routine office maintenance and warehouse equipment issues
- •Empty trash into dumpsters, ensure parking lot cleanliness
- •Stock restrooms when paper products are low
- •Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and request same from employees, delivery drivers and customers
- •Consistent and prompt attendance, is reliable and dependable
- •Perform other duties as assigned and/or requested by Supervisors, Superintendents, Foreman, Managers and Office Personnel
- •The employee is frequently required to climb or balance
- •While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts
