An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) seeking a short-term contract with a school setting in the beautiful Napa, CA area. You'll work on-site alongside educators and therapists to provide one-on-one behavior support for a 4th grade student with moderate behavioral needs, including aggressive behaviors. Your specialized skills will help create a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment during the summer session.

What you'll bring
• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
• Prior experience working in schools or with school-aged children
• Demonstrated proficiency addressing and redirecting aggressive behaviors
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff and families
• Reliability and professionalism in maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
• Positive attitude and resilience in adapting to challenging situations
• Availability to commit to the full contract duration: June 15 – July 30
• Able to work on-site for up to 30 hours per week Key responsibilities:
• Deliver one-on-one behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts or other qualified supervisors
• Support academic participation by implementing behavior plans and strategies specific to the student's needs
• Accurately collect and document behavioral data and progress
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to behavior planning
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support as necessary
• Communicate regularly with educational staff and student families regarding progress You'll gain experience in a supportive school environment and make a tangible impact on a student's journey during the summer term.
