Qualifications
- •Must be able to work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)

- •Ability to learn and follow departmental policies and procedures, various cleaning and patient hospitality techniques, proper use and storage of cleaning agents and chemicals

- •Must be able to work in a fast-paced cleaning environment
- •Ability to be flexible with work assignments

- •Requires full body motion, including ability to perform work while lifting, bending, stooping, crouching, squatting, and reaching

Responsibilities
- •Creates a sanitary, safe environment and enhances the appearance of the facility
- •Performs job functions primarily inpatient, discharge and surgical settings on a daily basis as assigned
- •This role may also include ancillary areas, exam rooms, offices, waiting areas, public restrooms, and other assigned areas in an outpatient non-surgical setting
- •Days: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- •Perform daily cleaning of assigned areas, including but not limited to; dust mopping, mopping/scrubbing, vacuuming, gum removal, and buffing hard floor surfaces using various equipment
- •Complete waste stream removal, including the same transport and disposal of general waste, recycling, and infectious waste
- •Adhere to policies and procedures on patient isolation and all Environmental Services technical and procedural standard operating procedures
- •Follow and comply with hospital-wide and departmental safety requirements
