in a 640-bed teaching hospital with academic affiliation opportunities.
Practice Info
• Join an existing team of 22 pathologists
• Primary responsibilities are in a 640-bed teaching hospital
• Academic center with 12 residents and 4 fellows in Pathology, including 1 cytopathology fellow
• Core laboratory in Temple receives more than 100,000 specimens annually
• Core laboratory has numerous state-of-the-art capabilities including primary digital sign out and an advanced molecular/sequencing laboratory
• Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Temple is a Level I Trauma Center and a Level IV maternal care center
Responsibilities
• Practice general anatomic pathology as applicable
• Provide cytopathology service coverage including FNA procedures

Requirements
• MD degree (or MD equivalent)
• Valid Texas medical license (or qualifications to obtain one at the time of appointment)
• Board Certified or Board eligible in Anatomic Pathology
• Fellowship training in cytopathology is preferred
• Applicants with expertise in cytopathology either with a formal fellowship training or comparable experience and publications will be preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills are preferred
