Job Description

Overview

Superhero Kiddos is seeking a warm, organized, and flexible Special Education Learning Pod Teacher

to lead instruction in a small, ABA-supported microschool environment in North Miami.

Our Learning Pod serves students with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, and other learning

differences. Each student has an assigned RBT to support behavior, task completion, transitions, and

individualized learning strategies. This allows the teacher to focus on instruction, academic growth, student

engagement, and collaboration with families and the ABA team.

This is a wonderful opportunity for an educator who enjoys personalized learning, small-group instruction,

and working closely with a supportive team.

Responsibilities

The Special Education Learning Pod Teacher will:

● Provide individualized and small-group instruction

● Support students with autism, ADHD, and learning differences

● Collaborate with RBTs, BCBAs, therapists, families, and leadership

● Use student work, observations, and progress data to guide instruction

● Create a calm, structured, and encouraging classroom environment

● Communicate with families about student progress

Qualifications

Required:

● Bachelor’s degree; Strong communication and classroom leadership skills; Certification eligible or

willing to pursue certification pathway, if applicable; Able to pass background screening and

fingerprinting

Preferred:

● Experience working with children with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, or learning differences;

Florida teaching certification; Experience in special education, private school, homeschool,

microschool, ABA center, or therapeutic learning environment; Familiarity with ABA principles, IEP

goals, behavior plans, or individualized learning plans

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
