Position: Board Certified Behavioral Analyst

Location: Tacoma, WA

Length: 6 month contract to hire

Rate: $35-$38/hr

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is looking for a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst to join the team out of the Tacoma, Washington area in support of a Federal client.

The Analyst will be responsible for the following:

• Perform a full range of Behavior Analyst services (assessment, behavior analysis, treatment) in accordance with the scope of clinical privileges granted by the Military Treatment Facility (MTF).

• Obtain consultation, supervision, and training, or make referrals, as necessary.

• Provide behavior-analytic services in collaboration with others who support and/or provide services to patients.

• Use standardized assessment tools and be able to incorporate them into treatment plans and ongoing assessments.

• Plan and prepare written treatment programs based on an evaluation of the patient.

• Design and implement individualized behavioral assessment procedures.

• Design and implement the full range of functional assessment procedures.

• Identify potential interventions based on assessment results and the best available scientific evidence.

• State intervention goals in observable and measurable terms.

• Select intervention strategy.

• Identify and address practical and ethical considerations when using experimental designs to demonstrate treatment effectiveness.

• Record treatment, response, and progress in patient's chart and/or automated systems.

• Work with multidisciplinary teams in the assessment and treatment or co-treatment of patients.

• Develop and/or carry out instructional behavior programs for patients and for caregivers of patients to include but is not limited to social skills training, behavior management, de-escalation techniques.

• Be willing to teach or mentor trainees from other disciplines (other therapists, medical residents, fellows, volunteers) principles of behavior management.

• Participate in peer reviewed and IRB approved research activities as desired.

• Participate in peer review activities.

• Review of community generated ABA progress reports. Participate in peer review activities.

• Select intervention strategies.

• Identify and address practical and ethical considerations when using experimental designs to demonstrate treatment effectiveness.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Have active BCBA certification credentials

• Must be able to pass a Federal government background check

• Must be able to pass Child background checks

• Must provide proof of education, certification

• Candidate must be fully vaccinated or consent to routine testing.
