Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a growing inpatient rehabilitation team in Gainesville, FL. This role offers the opportunity to work in a modern, high-resource clinical environment, supporting patients in regaining communication, cognitive, and swallowing functions while promoting independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
• Provide patient and family education on therapy goals, progress, and home strategies
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including evaluations and discharge summaries
Qualifications
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of SLP experience required
• Education: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Licensure: Active Florida SLP license required
• Preferred Skills: Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Study (MBS) and Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow (FEES)
