Job Description
Step into a rewarding role supporting student success as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) serving grades K-12. Working full time from August 2026 through May 2027, you’ll be making a powerful impact on the classroom experience for both students and staff. In this contract position, you’ll collaborate closely with educators, paraprofessionals, and administrative teams to foster positive behaviors and implement effective ABA strategies.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
• Active BCBA certification is required
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong knowledge of ABA principles and behavior intervention plans
• Excellent communication and staff training skills
Primary Responsibilities:
• Directly support 5 classrooms, managing a caseload of 10-15 students
• Train teachers and paraprofessionals in the use of ABA strategies targeting positive behavior support
• Use data analysis to guide interventions, reduce problem behaviors, and reinforce positive actions
• Provide hands-on, real-time coaching and modeling—ensuring staff feel confident and capable
• Deliver consistent follow-up, offering actionable strategies via email to maintain modeled practices
• Step into classroom support roles during staff absences or shortages when needed
• Lead professional development sessions covering topics such as data collection, classroom management, and visual supports
