Job Description
h-Language Pathologist (SLP), the SLPA will assist in delivering therapy interventions to students with speech and language disorders, helping them improve communication and functional skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in delivering speech and language therapy services to students
• Conduct speech and language screenings (without interpretation) using established protocols
• Implement and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans
• Document student progress and report findings to the supervising SLP
• Support SLP during assessments, including material preparation and clerical tasks
• Prepare and organize therapy materials and equipment
• Adapt instructional materials based on student needs
• Maintain accurate student records, charts, and reports
• Assist with classroom organization and educational displays
• Support use of assistive communication devices (AAC)
Student Population
• Students with speech and language disorders
• May include students with additional developmental or learning disabilities
Required Qualifications
• Associate’s Degree in a related field
• Active Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License (state-specific)
Preferred Qualifications
• 1–2 years of experience in a school or pediatric setting

- •Monday – Thursday: 7:45 AM – 3:45 PM
- •Friday: 7:45 AM – 1:15 PM
- •Total Weekly Hours: 37.5
