Looking for volunteers with heart to help us teach tennis to kids with autism in Orlando, FL!
No tennis experience is necessary! Our goal is to help these children learn socializing skills, fine & gross motor skills, and gain interest in fitness, which means we have a focus on fun.
Volunteers receive training and are paired with a participant to help them through the motions of the game of tennis through various drills and games. We hope that our volunteers and participants form a bond and friendship over the course of our session. Volunteers who return each week find the most value in our volunteer opportunity and will see the strides the athletes make in our program.
Sundays January 25, February 1, 8, 15, 22, March 1, 8
