The Director will partner closely with executive leadership and clinical teams to ensure regulatory compliance, strengthen clinical practices, and promote the health and well-being of those served.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide leadership and oversight for the nursing and health services team
• Supervise and support nursing staff and health service coordinators
• Monitor healthcare coordination for individuals with complex or high-risk medical needs
• Ensure compliance with applicable state regulations and healthcare standards
• Oversee medication management practices and health protocols
• Coordinate medical appointments, follow-up care, and healthcare documentation
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and service planning 🤝
• Provide guidance to residential staff regarding medical and psychiatric needs
• Support hospital discharge planning and coordination of medical emergencies
• Develop and maintain health policies, procedures, and quality oversight systems
• Train staff on medical protocols and consumer health needs 📋
Qualifications
Required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Experience in human services, community healthcare, or related settings
Preferred
• BSN
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
• Familiarity with state regulatory environments and residential services
Ideal Candidate

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to train, mentor, and support multidisciplinary staff
• Knowledge of complex medical and psychiatric conditions
• Strong documentation and regulatory compliance experience
Additional Requirements
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation 🚗
• Ability to travel between program locations
• Participation in nursing on-call rotation as needed
