Role Description
This full-time role as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is based on-site at our Winter Park, FL location. The RBT will provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Daily responsibilities include observing, recording data, and supporting skill acquisition, behavior reduction strategies, and social development. The RBT will play a key role in creating a nurturing environment to promote the success and well-being of the individuals we serve.
Qualifications
• Experience with behavior intervention techniques, behavior analysis, and implementing intervention plans
• Ability to observe, collect, and accurately record data for tracking progress and effective program adjustments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with clients, families, and team members
• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of hire
• Patience, empathy, and a compassionate approach when working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Basic understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and meet all other licensing and employment requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in psychology, education, or related fields is a plus
