Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver speech-language pathology services to students ranging from Early Childhood to 8th grade.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized educational plans.
• Conduct assessments to identify speech and language needs and monitor student progress.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state regulations.
• Participate in meetings and professional development activities as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement.
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
• Experience working with school-aged children in a public school setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with staff and families.
• Commitment to student-centered, evidence-based practices.
Location and Schedule:
• Position located in Calumet City, IL.
• On-site work only; telepractice or voice-over-contract (VOCO) services are not permitted.
• Contract dates from ASAP through June 3, 2026.
• Approximately 33.75 hours per week.

- •Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required
- •Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement
