Job Description
Step into a vital role supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician working one-on-one within a school setting near Caldwell, ID. This contract opportunity allows you to make a difference across K-12 grade levels, helping students who require behavioral support to reach their fullest potential. The position begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year, with a steady schedule of 30 hours per week over five days.
Youll deliver dedicated support to one student per assignment, helping them navigate their academic environment and fostering positive behavioral development within a caring, structured framework.
Ideal candidates possess:
• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
• Experience in pediatric and school-based behavioral support
• Familiarity working with children in early childhood, elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, school staff, and parents
• Ability to implement behavior intervention plans and collect data on student progress
Key responsibilities include:
• Providing 1:1 behavioral interventions to assigned students as directed by a supervising BCBA
• Collaborating with educators to support classroom integration and promote inclusion
• Tracking and reporting data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and intervention outcomes
• Adjusting strategies to meet evolving student needs throughout the school year
