Key Responsibilities
Patient Evaluation & Treatment
• Assess and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy as needed
Clinical Specialties
• Manage patients with dysphagia, neurological conditions, and respiratory compromise
• Support stroke and ICU patient populations
• Perform bedside swallow evaluations and therapeutic interventions
Advanced Procedures (Preferred)
• Conduct Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies
• Perform Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) (preferred but not required)
Collaboration
• Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Provide education to patients, families, and staff
Documentation & Compliance
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Follow hospital policies and regulatory guidelines
Required Qualifications
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Minimum 2+ years of experience within the specialty
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in acute care hospital settings
• Familiarity with MBS and FEES procedures

Responsibilities
- •Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- •Weekend Requirement: Minimum 2 weekends per 4 weeks (preferred up to 4)
