Hourly Wages:
• $25-32/hour
Qualifications and Skills:
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification (required)
• High school or equivalent diploma or transcripts
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to interact, engage, and have fun with individuals with disabilities
• Desire to learn and work independently at times
Duties of the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):
• Provide high-quality, interactive ABA therapy directly with clients by being a licensed RBT of varying ages in a variety of settings including the client’s home, school, and/or the community.
• Help learners gain life skills that will increase the learner’s independence (communication, daily living, potty training, social/emotional skills, play skills, vocational skills)
• Teach learners new communication skills and replacement behaviors through the use of evidence-based techniques to reduce challenging behaviors.
• Collect accurate data and meet data collection minimums for the services provided, as well as write detailed session notes in order to inform decisions made by BCBAs.
• Reliably attends scheduled RBT sessions
• Participate in ongoing trainings
